| VCM Vision
Statement
The Vineyard of Gainesville advances the kingdom of God by discipling
college students, helping them become people who take individual
responsibility for their spiritual lives, and develop a disciplined
life.
The Vineyard provides opportunities for building community
, with the rest of the church family, as well as with peers.
Through community, shared experiences, and the development of good
relationship skills, the group forms quality, deep, life-long friendships
with like-minded people.
They become equipped to minister to their friends and
family , learning to study and teach the bible, learning to pray
for people, identifying effective evangelism techniques, and taking
opportunities to serve.
They are sent into the next phase in their life, with
vision, understanding their strengths, weaknesses, giftings and
talents so that they may choose a career and life-ministry that
suits them. |
