Vineyard welcomes Servants of Christ
Anglican Church

Vineyard welcomes a new Tenant to our campus. "Servants
of Christ" is a new Anglican Church formed in our area. With
much prayer Vineyard has invited them to share our beautiful campus
for their worship.
Their worship schedules should not impact normal Vineyard functions
but we should all be aware that we are now stewards of a campus
serving three major tenants as well as ourselves.

and Servants of Christ Anglican Church
We encourage everyone using our facilities to
take pride and ownership of the campus by pitching-in. We welcome
your prayers, financial support, ideas for improving, and lending
a hand to keep our property a vital spiritual center in Gainesville.
This is God's property - in our hands, let's do what
we can to make it shine the love of Christ for all who gather or visit
here. Servants of Christ Anglican Church
will be holding two Sunday services 8:30am(Chapel) & 5:00pm(Sanctuary),
and will be using much of the remaining VoG rooms on Wednesday evenings
for small-group gatherings.
A message from Rev. Alex Farmer...
A group has been working for some time to
establish a place for the congregation... After much thought and
prayer, the decision was made to plant this new Anglican Church...
We will begin worship services at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship
(3536 NW 8th Avenue) Sunday, January 8th at 5pm. We will continue
our ministry with a gracious lease from Vineyard to host not only
two Sunday services weekly (8:30 am and 5pm), but also our Wednesday
night program for children, youth, and adults, as well as, our other
small group gatherings.
In closing, I am reminded with this news
that we are all called to live by faith and not by sight, as Jesus
says to Saint Thomas, “blessed are those who have not seen and yet
have believed”. We step out with no guarantee of tomorrow,
yet confident that we have sought to walk in obedience today.
Onward and Upward,
The Rev. Alex Farmer |

Hosts Rebuild Gainesville
Vineyard of Gainesville, along with Faith Presbyterian Church
and the North Central Florida YMCA, co-hosted Rebuild Gainesville
providing the young volunteers with somewhere to sleep, eat and
shower. Some of our Vineyard Family, such as Cliff Whitman (shown
in the photo) also lended a hand in the repair.

| Vineyard said good-bye to two of
our leaders
We had to say good-bye on Sunday (June 26th) to two of our ministry
leaders. Rebecca Beauchamp and Tim McKean (and his family).
Rebecca Beauchamp was our Outreach leader in 2001-2003
bringing Angel-Tree
(a Prison Fellowship ministry) to Vineyard. Albert
Etheridge had taken the reigns until a few months ago when Rebecca
resumed her leadership. Since then she was instrumental in organizing
and facilitating the outreach partnership with Christians Concerned
for the Community (CCC) to build a wheel-chair ramp for Mrs. Pope
(read
more on this outreach here). She is moving up North (Indiana)
to live closer to her family. We pray for the very best for her
and are so grateful for the impact she has had on our church family
while she was with us. (If you are interested in Outreach leadership
contact the church
office)
Tim and Cathy McKeon and their two children Gideon
& Meaveen are leaving us because Tim’s job is transferring him
to a different location in Mississippi. Tim has been the leader
of our Prayer Ministry for quite some time. To many who don’t know
him well, he’s the guy who was always dancing and waving the flags
around when the Holy Spirit would so move him during Worship. For
those who knew him, he was a Prayer Warrior, a true fully armed
and armored soldier for God. Tim is responsible for many untold
hours of intercessory prayer for each of God’s family and the church
(both in and outside Vineyard’s walls). Tim and Cathy will be sorely
missed. Yet at the same time we may feel excited about what God
has in store for them and the people they will touch in Mississippi.
On his last Sunday Tim shared a bit of prophesy for our church...

Baby Shower
Diana Blitch
3 Large boxes of baby items for orphans in
Lesotho, Africa!!!
God
enlarged our hearts the week of Vacation Bible School to make a
difference in someone else's life. Our missions' class held a baby
shower for the orphans at Beautiful Gate in Africa ( where our
own Del Villafane is serving in missions ). The children and
their families were so generous as they brought what they loved
and could afford. Some items were used. We trust the Lord knows
what these orphaned children need the most. The donations filled
a baby crib with items for these children.
Three (3) large boxes are on their way and should arrive in a few
weeks. Del , our missionary, will be in Africa till December
and would still love news from afar. You can email Del at delmaris03@gmail.com
Anyone who had a desire to participate but thought they missed
the chance can still contribute to postage which was $124.00.
Just contact or send in a check (with “vbs missions” on the memo
part of your check) to the church office.
“My faith grew by working with your children that week
as there participation was so purely and truly evident
in their concern as they listened and gave."
Thank you so so much. Diana Blitch
Del heard the news…
“Wow! Let me just say how blown away I am! I am so blessed
to have such an amazing congregation of people back home that
are so giving and caring! I seriously cried when I read this email
because I am so excited about how much God is blessing me through
Vineyard! Thank you so much for everything and please let the
church know how grateful I am for their constant support! Thanks
again, I can't say it enough!”
God Bless, Del (more
