| What to expect from the Pulpit...
Vineyard of Gainesville believes in applying our lives and our church services to building a closer relationship with God through the study of the life, ministry and messages of Jesus Christ as provided in the Holy Bible.
We believe in the “here and the not yet” of the Kingdom of God . In which, we believe that when Jesus Came to earth he began a process of bringing the “ Kingdom of God ” to earth and that on His triumphant return we will have the Kingdom of God in its fullest. Beginning this process Jesus brought the power of the Holy Spirit within reach of you and me. Through this power we are called to continue the ministry of Jesus as described in the New Testament and to be “Doers” of the things he did. This means that we are called to Worship the Father in Heaven through Discipleship, Outreach, Equipping, Relationships, and Service.
We are called to...
“ 18 ... to preach good news to the poor.
... proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." - Luke 4:18-19 (NIV)
Our messages seek to proclaim this and help us draw nearer to the Father's love and to seek Him in every thing we do.
