A Message from Pastor Hart following the Graham Cooke Conference

Neo said "Whoa!"
There is a scene in the movie The Matrix where Neo observes Morpheus leap from one tall building to another like we may step off a curb. In the presence of one whose experience and gifts are far greater than his own Neo could only pause and say, "Whoa!" Little did Neo understand that the whole point of Morpheus' display was to call him up to his own place of destiny. Neo too was called to leap, to run, and to fight! Morpheus was beginning to show him the way.
One of my early responses to this past weekend's Graham Cooke conference is, "Whoa!" To say that we have been stretched is an understatement. But simply having our worldview challenged and stretched is not in and of itself significant. We can do the same thing watching an athlete perform some task that is beyond our abilities, and therefore impresses us.
We have not merely been stretched. We have been challenged. And we have been offered an invitation to run. God is calling us out of our complacency and toward our destiny. A year ago we embraced "transition" and have been seeking the Lord as to just what it is that He is transforming us into. This past weekend God's calling began to come even more clearly into focus. Yet now is really the beginning.
Please take time to ask the Father what your role is in the days ahead. Remember that we have CDs and DVDs available of the conference. For those of you who were unable to attend, I strongly encourage you to get a copy and watch/listen. For those of you who were here, you might want to go over them again and again - especially the prophetic words to our church.
I look forward to the days ahead, like never before. I am so glad that we get to "run" together.
Be blessed, Arty
