Greeters are all about...
Proverbs 15:30, "A cheerful look brings joy to the Heart"
The purpose of this ministry is to help visitors to connect with our church. We want folks to feel accepted and to help within our body. We want folks to feel accepted and to help show the
unconditional
love of the Father. We also would like folks to get plugged in some place in our Fellowship and this is the beginning of that coming about.
We have a team of six Greeter's every Sunday. We provide schedules each month, by mail, and trade with each other if we can not meet our own scheduled days. We meet at 10:00am Sunday mornings to don our green aprons, Pray for each other, the service and our visitors, and are posted at the front doors to the sanctuary and the Hub area to hand out bulletins or other fliers.
We are also serve early in the servce collecting the offering. It's easy as that, it's fun and its a blessing to the greeters and those they greet each Sunday.
Our Greeters have developed wonderful relationships with one another and have expressed how much they enjoy starting the morning out with positive attitudes toward others. It helps to start our week on a positive note.
