How are you?
Amidst mounting political unrest, staggering numbers of dengue fever victims, severe drought followed by severe floods from Hurricane Ida, changes in Government and all the disparity going on around me… All is well, PRAISE GOD!!!
As Thanksgiving fast approaches I give thanks to Our Father in Heaven:
THANK YOU FATHER: for bringing me here to Nicaragua to serve in such a time as this.
Esther 4:14
“And who knows but that you have come to position for such a time as this?”
THANK YOU FATHER: for being given the authority to go ahead and design and implement a daily schedule for the children and staff at Vida Nueva.
Psalm 20:4
“May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.”
THANK YOU FATHER: for the privilege of this opportunity to use the knowledge and experience from Los Cedros to start over at Vida Nueva.
THANK YOU FATHER: for the joy of starting over, using the past to build a better tomorrow.
THANK YOU Jehovah Nissi: for keeping me and the children of Vida Nueva safe each day.
Deuteronomy 12:10
“You will settle in the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety.”
THANK YOU Jehovah Rapha: for protecting me from the sickness and disease so common here. So I can daily serve you in strength and health.
Jeremiah 33:6
” ‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.”

THANK YOU Jehovah Jireh: for your provision of a home and transportation to this point.
Psalm 132:15
“I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor will I satisfy with food.”
THANK YOU FATHER: for friends and family. I value our new home group!
John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends.”
THANK YOU FATHER: for your unconditional love that sustains me moment by moment.

THANK YOU FATHER: for leading me to attend a new church: Covenant Church, Managua. (www.ccmanagua.net)
THANK YOU FATHER: for directing me to teach Sunday School to the pre-schoolers.
THANK YOU FATHER: for a divine meeting here in Nicaragua in Oct with a friend, Jill, from USA who I haven’t seen for years!
THANK YOU FATHER: for a day of ministry together with Jill and the ladies from NUEVA IMAGEN Ministry/victims of sexual exploitation. (www.missionsminded.org)
THANK YOU FATHER: that YOU are in control and we don’t have to be! You are our Sovereign LORD.
THANK YOU El Elyon: For your love, mercy, grace, hope, comfort, joy and salvation.
