Jeremiah project rules!!!…is that what you had in mind, Dustin??? Kidding. I will say I have missed the worship. It is hard to find times where everyone can worship the Lord however they desire, be it painting, drawing, dancing, making up lyrics, singing hymns, humming, reading the bible, journaling…well the idea is pretty clear. It is a beautiful sight.
Where two or more are gathered together, the Lord is there. and i dont think thats to say that he’s not there before two or more gather.I think what it means is that when two or more people come together for the purpose and with the heart to worship Him, He is so much more visible and it makes us think “wow, God is really here with us!” so this is the case for Jeremiah Project. I remember being one of the only 2 or 3 people left at JP meetings and we we’re so at rest in knowing the Father was there. in turn it would provoke a conversation, a song, a painting, a dream (its hard not to sleep at 4 in the morning) about this God that our culture unknowingly hangs upon but often leaves out of conversations, songs, paintings and dreams. No eye has seen nor ear has heard, no mind can fully know what God has in store for those who love him and willingly seek Him.
I have invited many people to experience the time of worship with me, several of which have been long time christians, and all have left with a new understanding of what worship can be. There is freedom to be found in the peace. It has always been a way for me to bring myself back to the center, and really search/wait/listen for answers, or comfort, or what ever it is that I am missing in my life.
